Leuchtturm von Texel | Eingebettet in den Dünen von Texel liegt der Leuchtturm am nördlichen Ende der niederländischen Nordseeinsel Texel. Seit 1927 wird der maritime Wegweiser elektrisch betrieben. Im November 1864 wurde der Leuchtturm mit Petroleum-Brennern in Betrieb genommen. Das Leuchtfeuer blinkt zweimal im 10-Sekunden-Takt und ist ca. 29 Seemeilen sichtbar.
